Electronics Test Technician - Miramar Location - 9x80 Work Schedule - $28 / hr-$34 / hr

Job Description

As an Electronics Test Technician, you will be responsible for building complex racks with fiber and copper cables, as well as multiple sub-assemblies. You will pull parts for sub-assemblies and integrate them into rack-based systems and enclosures. Your role will require you to perform mechanical assembly, test and repair subassemblies or cables, and create installation instructions for field personnel. A strong understanding of electronics and the ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings are essential.

Responsibilities

• Build complex racks with fiber and copper cables and multiple sub-assemblies.
• Pull parts and integrate subassemblies into rack-based systems and enclosures.
• Perform mechanical assembly of equipment using hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, and fixtures.
• Test and repair subassemblies or cables to the component level using instruments.
• Route cables in electromechanical equipment racks.
• Work from written procedures, schematics, sketches, blueprints, diagrams, and technical orders.
• Perform Acceptance Test Procedures (ATPs) using test instruments like oscilloscopes and electronic voltmeters.
• Create installation, removal, and testing instructions for field personnel.
• Install all hardware, cables, and subassemblies.

Work Environment

The position follows a 9 / 80 work schedule : Monday to Thursday from 7 : 15 AM to 4 : 45 PM, and every other Friday off. On working Fridays, the hours are from 7 : 15 AM to 3 : 45 PM, with potential opportunities for overtime. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $34.00 / hr.
