Job descriptionPerform well child exams for pediatric patients Deliver patient care in accordance with community health standards and protocols Accurately document patient encounters using Cerner EMR Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive care Adhere to all clinical, regulatory, and safety requirements Must have active California license Required certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Board certification in Family Medicine or Pediatrics required Minimum of three years post-residency experience preferred Prior experience in FQHC or community health systems strongly preferred Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities
We are seeking a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens assignment in California, starting Sep 29, 2025, for 55 days. This role offers a Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm schedule, focusing on well child exams in a community health setting. Ideal candidates have at least three years post-residency experience, prior FQHC or community health system experience, and current BLS and PALS certifications. Proficiency with Cerner EMR is required.
