Responsibilities Work settings include adult acute care, adult outpatient, and the emergency department Care for a diverse patient population including neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics Variable shifts : 1830-0700, 0800-1630, 0630-1500, 0730-1600, 0700-1530, with every third weekend 0900-2100 Day shift is 5x8 hours, 7 : 30 AM to 4 : 00 PM Specialized procedures performed include aspirations, biopsies, colonography, CT arthrography, drainage, myelography, and vascular CTA Spine and musculoskeletal studies include cervical, lumbar, musculoskeletal trauma, and thoracic imaging Procedures include abdomen, pelvis, chest, head, and neck CTs with or without contrast Equipment used includes PACS, C-arm, and portable imaging devices Floating to other units and / or facilities is expected Responsible for conducting advanced CT studies, including contrast studies and special procedures Must be able to care for neonatal through geriatric patients Epic charting system experience is preferred but not required Every third weekend coverage is expected No block scheduling; schedule changes may occur with two weeks notice to balance staffing Fingerprints may be required for assignment in specific Ohio departments Annual and orientation modules will be required; some module time is unpaid Travel pairs are accepted; related travelers may not work on the same unit Former permanent staff must have been gone at least 1 year before being considered Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are not accepted First-time travelers are accepted for this position Requirements Minimum of 1 year acute care CT Technologist experience required Active ARRT (R) and BLS certifications required Valid state license required if applicable Experience in preparation and administration of contrast media Skills in starting peripheral IVs are required Epic EMR experience preferred Ability to perform multiplanar reconstruction and advanced post-processing Must be able to operate OR, portable, and C-arm equipment Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-631496.
