Travel Agent Planner

Key responsibilities

Consult with clients to capture travel preferences, needs and budgets; manage multiple client requests with professionalism and empathy.

Research destinations, accommodations, transport options, activities and local requirements to create safe, practical recommendations.

Design and present clear, customized itineraries that meet client objectives.

Coordinate and confirm bookings for flights, hotels, cruises, tours and car rentals; maintain accurate booking records.

Provide timely, proactive support before, during and after travel including problem resolution and itinerary adjustments as needed.

Monitor industry updates, travel advisories and supplier policies to ensure compliant and current guidance.

Qualifications

Strong communication and customer service skills (written and verbal).

Excellent organization, research ability and attention to detail.

Proven problem-solving skills and a client-focused approach.

Comfortable working independently in a remote environment and managing time effectively.

Previous experience in travel, hospitality, or customer service is an advantage but not required.

Familiarity with online travel booking tools / platforms is a plus.
