Responsibilities Work in the Surgical Services / Operating Room (OR) unit of a hospital setting Care is provided to pediatric, adolescent, adult, and older adult patients Typical shifts are Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm, or three 12-hour shifts (7am-7 : 30pm or 7pm-7 : 30am), with night on-call shifts required No floating to other units or departments is required Unit consists of 20 rooms with a 1 : 1 nurse to patient ratio Uses computerized charting with Meditech Circulating RN responsible for comprehensive peri-operative care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation Coordinate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, pre / post-op nurses, and surgical techs Participation in training other nurses may be required On-call coverage is required for this position Facility provides scrubs as part of the dress code Requirements Active AK RN license is required Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program Current BLS for Healthcare Provider or CPR / AED for the Professional Rescuer certification Current ACLS certification by the American Heart Association Minimum of 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience Moderate sedation and PACU experience highly preferred Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-628931.
