Job Title : Mainframe COBOL Developer (IBM DB2, MQ-Series, Taxation 7+years Exp)

Location : Albany, NY (Hybrid)

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications

Qualifications :

• Experience supporting a Government Taxation organization, including technical design, development, maintenance, and end-user support for Tax and Revenue Accounting Systems.
• Strong background in systems analysis and the design of multi-tiered transactional applications.
• Proficient in Java development within an IBM environment using IBM Rational Application Developer (RAD) and deploying applications on WebSphere Application Server (WAS).
• Hands-on experience working with IBM AIX DB2 databases.
• Experience using IBM MVS JCL in a mainframe environment for job control and batch operations.
• Experience with IBM MQ-Series for messaging and integration.
• Skilled in using TSO (Time Sharing Option) within mainframe environments.
• Experience working with CICS for transaction processing in mainframe systems.
• Proficient in COBOL programming within an IBM mainframe environment.
• Experience authoring detailed technical design specification documents for complex, component-based systems.
