Description:
Work in Network Operations Center (NOC) department for technical guidance on networking solutions, product plans, and roadmaps and to create and design relevant network solutions according to client requirements and the network environment. Create a network that fits with the established architectural standards for the company, ensuring communication between systems and departments. Provide security solutions to protect customers’ networks to mitigate any potential threats that become evident, and to strategize and prepare before any security threat is enacted. Work closely with other NOC Engineers, Network Engineers, and Network Administrators to understand exact issues, and expected outcomes and transfer them to appropriate technical requirements. Work on a range of requirements including adding new network applications (DHCP, VPN, Firewall) or making major changes to existing applications (DNS structure changes), improving the efficiency of network addressing or routing protocol ranges, integrating new security measures, adding new network services (such as voice traffic, content networking, and storage networking), improving internet connectivity and adding bandwidth.
REQUIRES: Master’s in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
