About the Role
We’re looking for a dedicated and passionate Baker to join our culinary team. The Baker is responsible for preparing and baking a variety of goods, including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies. This role requires precision, creativity, and a commitment to maintaining the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
Measure, mix, and prepare ingredients according to recipes and production requirements.
Operate ovens, mixers, and other bakery equipment safely and efficiently.
Monitor baking processes, adjusting time and temperature to ensure consistent results.
Decorate and finish baked goods such as cakes, tarts, and pastries with icings, glazes, and other details.
Follow guidance from the Lead Baker and maintain company quality standards.
Track and manage ingredient inventory; assist with ordering and stock rotation.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the bakery area, adhering to all food safety regulations.
Clean and maintain equipment and tools to ensure proper operation and hygiene.
Work collaboratively with kitchen and pastry team members to meet daily production goals.
Assist with general food preparation and closing duties when needed.
Attend team meetings and contribute ideas for improvement.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Kitchen Manager or Manager-on-Duty.
Qualifications
1–2 years of experience as a baker or in a similar role.
Valid California Food Handler Card (will provide training for certification)
Solid knowledge of baking techniques, recipes, and food safety standards.
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
Strong time management, organization, and teamwork skills.
Attention to detail, sanitation, and presentation.
Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Comfortable working in a hot, fast-paced environment.
