Job Summary
The IT Manager is responsible for overall management of IT Infrastructure, Business Software applications, Cyber Security and Data Analytics platform within the organization. This position will be responsible for collaborating with internal functional leaders, technical partners and vendors to ensure IT infrastructure and Software applications meet business needs and technological requirements. This position will plan and execute the overall operations, goals and budget for the Information Technology department.
Responsibilities :
- Oversee the daily operations of the IT department, including help desk, desktop support, network administration, and data center management.
- Manage all application support and operational needs for ERP and other business applications.
- Ability to manage multiple platforms and environments related to Routing, Switching, IP Telephony, Wireless, Firewalls, Client VPN, Security and Monitoring tools.
- Setup, Deployment, and management of virtual environments using VMWare.
- Perform or delegate regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery and failover procedures.
- Collaborate and monitor work assignments to vendors to ensure optimal quality, system performance and swift delivery.
- Implement and maintain policies, procedures, and documentation for all aspects of IT operations.
- Ensure that Business Software applications are secure, scalable, and efficient.
- Maintain and support all on-prem and on cloud database systems
- Ensure efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of data processes
- Implementing security controls like firewalls, threat monitoring systems, vulnerability management, network traffic analysis and data encryption.
- Recruit, train, and manage a team of IT Support Technicians, Business analysts, developers and other support staff.
- Set performance goals, conduct performance reviews, and provide mentorship and guidance to the IT team.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and prioritize software requirements.
- Manage projects, define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and milestones in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Implement security measures to protect sensitive data and applications.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time to our other manufacturing plants and colocation facilities as needed.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree (BA / BS / BEng) from College or University in a technical area of study (Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems) or equivalent technical work experience.10+ years of experience in IT management roles, preferably in manufacturing industryIn depth knowledge of Networks, Ethernet, TCP / IP, VLANs, IP Routing (OSPF, BGP) QoSExperience in configuring, deploying, and managing standard network equipment (cabling, routers, switches, wireless APs)Experience with SSO / MFA integration between Google Workspace, Office 365, Slack and other major cloud service providersHands-on experience with Windows and Mac operating systemsKnowledge of deploying Cyber Security measures like Endpoint protection, Web filtering, Anti-phishing email protection, penetration testing & data encryption.Experience in configuration and support of ERP Software preferably MS D365 – F&OERP implementation experience with Finance, Supply Chain Planning, Sales Order Management, Procurement, or any other modules.Experience with reporting and data analytics tools like PowerBI or Tableau.Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Workflow, Power Apps)General Knowledge of Microsoft Database Technologies (MS SQL Server, Azure Data Studio)Excellent communication and leadership skills.Ability to bridge between functional and technical information and communicate effectively between business and technical resources including leadership.Experience in managing large Network infrastructure and Business applications across multiple sites.Proven problem solving and analytical thinking and ability to approach problems logically and systematically.Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and multi-task efficiently.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
