We’re hiring a Mechanic Foreman to lead shop mechanics while performing hands-on repairs on construction equipment, heavy trucks, and trailers.
This is a working leadership role responsible for daily workflow and shop performance.
What We Offer Great pay + full benefits (health, PTO, 401k match) Strong, stable company with long-term growth Safety-first shop environment What You’ll Do Diagnose and repair equipment, including tractor-trailers, lowboys, and dump trucks Assign daily work, manage schedules, and ensure mechanics have tools and training Monitor performance and support mechanics with troubleshooting Review workload projections and maintain productivity Complete accurate reports and detailed work orders in HCSS Maintain a clean, safe, well-organized shop Enforce company policies and safety practices What You Need 2+ years as a foreman in equipment or fleet maintenance 5+ years repairing construction equipment & heavy trucks HS diploma / GED (technical training preferred) Basic computer skills (Outlook, Excel, maintenance software) Personal mechanic tool set for heavy equipment work Ability to perform heavy physical tasks (lifting 50+ lbs., climbing, kneeling, etc.
Ability to pass DOT drug test & criminal background check Work Environment Indoor / outdoor shop environments with exposure to weather, noise, dust, fumes, and vibrations.
