Lactation Consultant Registered Nurse

Description

Join our compassionate team as a Lactation Consultant Registered Nurse, where you will play a crucial role in supporting families with breastfeeding at Kadlec Medical Center. Your responsibilities will include encouraging breastfeeding among inpatients, outpatients, prenatal clients, and employees. You'll be instrumental in updating nursing staff and physicians on current breastfeeding practices while performing other related duties.

Shifts Details : Part-time, 24 hours weekly, Variable shift

Required Qualifications :

• Coursework / Training : Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (or higher) from an accredited educational institution, or degree in progress. If a BSN or higher is in progress, it must be completed within 3 years from the date of hire.
• Upon hire : Washington Registered Nurse License.
• Upon hire : National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• 1 year of recent nursing experience, with an emphasis on breastfeeding experience.

Pay Range : $39.62 - $79.20. Additional compensation may be available for this role, including shift differentials, overtime, and other incentives.
