As a Music Therapist, you will be responsible for directing music therapy programming for residents. You will have the opportunity to perform assessments, develop music programming and work with residents of all ages, mobility and cultural backgrounds. If you love music and working with elderly residents, this is the position for you.

The highly qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Music Therapy or related field and be Music Therapy Board Certified (MT-BC); or be willing to obtain within six months of hire. Candidates should also have the ability to manage multiple projects and provide evidence-based interventions for all residents.

• One year supervised experience in a health care setting. Specialized training or experience in geriatric care or gerontology (preferred)
