Travel ICU RN – Norwich, CT

Assignment : 12 weeks

Start Date : 12 / 15

Shift : Days (AM), 12-hour shifts (7 : 00 AM – 7 : 30 PM)

Schedule : 3 × 12s, 36 hours / week, every other weekend, holidays as needed

On Call : None

Qualifications :

2+ years ICU experience

PCU experience required (PCU will be taking ICU overflow)

Experience in telemetry / PCU / ICU settings

Required Certifications : BLS, ACLS, NIHSS

Responsibilities :

Provide patient care within a dual-level unit (Telemetry / PCU / ICU) in a primary stroke center

Manage patient ratios of :

1 : 5–6 (floor / telemetry)

1 : 3 (PCU)

1 : 2 (ICU)

Care for common diagnoses such as chest pain, strokes, respiratory failure, and sepsis

Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe and effective patient care

Maintain documentation and adhere to unit standards and protocols
