Full-Time Sales Associate – Allen Edmonds

In this role you will develop and consistently display a detailed understanding of our sales process and product line, while being able to meet the various needs of our customers.
We offer competitive base rates with flexible schedules. Additionally, there is the opportunity to expand your earnings with uncapped commission-based earning in each pay period.
What You'll Be Doing
- Build Relationships & Exceptional Customer Experiences : Assist customers by demonstrating products, emphasizing features and benefits, and actively building a strong service atmosphere that caters to customers' needs and tastes.
- Providing Store Presentation Support : Perform tasks including stock work, visual display, and daily store operations; be timely in open and closing procedures and assist with maintenance of store location and merchandise as needed.
- Possess Drive & Self-Motivation : Consistently work towards the strategic goals of the business, while maintaining a focus on self-development, personal accomplishment and a constant push for achievement.
- Essential Functions : Other responsibilities may be performed as needed to ensure the needs of the business are met.

1–3 years of experience in retail store sales, customer service / hospitality environment, or similar brand environment.Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.A self-starter who can effectively prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment and is customer service focused.Proficient in general computer use, Microsoft Office, and ability to learn new proprietary systems.Able to perform point of sales functions, including register and cash handling.Physical Requirements And / or Environment
Ability to regularly lift up to 40 lbs. from floor level to above shoulder height using appropriate equipment and safety techniques.Ability to use step stools and / or ladders of varying sizes to reach inventory in stock room.Ability to meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.Ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods of time.From the skilled shoemakers on the manufacturing floor to senior management making strategic business decisions, every Associate plays an integral role in defining the Allen Edmonds brand and the greatness associated with our products.
