About The Position

Must-Have :

• Previous charge experience
• Patient ratio experience of 4 : 1
• Experience with Epic charting system
• Trauma Level II experience required
• Travel experience required

Description :

An Emergency Room Registered Nurse is needed.

The schedule includes every other weekend.

The position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience.

Candidates must have experience managing a 4 : 1 patient ratio.

Experience must include advanced certifications such as ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC.

Skills needed include central line care, continuous IV sedation, and interpretation of arterial blood gases.

Applicants should be knowledgeable in emergency medications, management of dysrhythmias, and triage.

Experience with ventilated patients is required.

The unit sees a daily census of 50-70 patients across all age groups, including neonates and geriatrics.

The successful candidate will work with an interdisciplinary support team including physical therapy and respiratory services.

All certifications must be AHA approved and held prior to submission.

Background checks will be conducted prior to hiring, and candidates must disclose any relevant background information.

Modules will need to be completed during orientation.
