Job Title : Head Start Teacher Aide

Reports To : Center Manager

Status : Non-Exempt

Position Overview : Join our team as a Head Start Teacher Aide and help shape the future! In this role, you will support the Head Start Teacher in fostering the social, emotional, cognitive, language, and physical development of children in a safe, nurturing environment. Responsibilities include assisting with classroom activities, maintaining a positive learning space, supervising children, and engaging parents in their child's education. This is a 10-month position (August-June).

Key Responsibilities

Instructional Support :

• Assist with classroom activities, including bilingual / multicultural education and support for children with disabilities.
• Help assess children's growth and development.
• Individualize activities to meet each child's unique needs.
• Engage parents in classroom and at-home learning activities.
