Job descriptionPerforming physical examinations and diagnostic tests Collecting and analyzing patient data Developing and implementing individualized care plans Administering medications, treatments, and procedures Monitoring and evaluating patient outcomes Documenting and reporting patient information Educating patients and families on health conditions, prevention, and wellness Collaborating and communicating with other healthcare team members Supervising and mentoring LPNs, CNAs, and other nursing staff Participating in quality improvement and research activities A valid RN license in the state of employment A BLS certification and other relevant certifications as required by the specialty or facility Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team
