Job description

Ducky Creek Policy Developer / Consultant

We're seeking a Duck Creek Policy Developer / Consultant with hands-on experience implementing and supporting the Duck Creek Policy Administration System (PAS) across Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance domains. The ideal candidate will drive configuration, integration, and optimization efforts while ensuring adherence to Duck Creek Conformant standards and best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end Duck Creek Policy implementations, including configuration, development, integration, and testing.
  • Configure and maintain Duck Creek modules : Express, Author, Transact, Server, Forms, Theme Maker, and User Admin.
  • Provide technical and functional leadership across P&C insurance processes (billing, payments, commissions, invoicing, collections).
  • Ensure compliance with Duck Creek Conformant and remediation guidelines.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, project teams, and offshore resources in an Agile / Scrum environment.
  • Support enterprise reporting and analytics via Duck Creek Insights, Extract Mapper, and Power BI.
  • Perform performance tuning, troubleshooting, and defect resolution across multiple Duck Creek versions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 5–10+ years of experience with Duck Creek Policy Administration System.
  • Proficiency with Duck Creek tools : Express (v3+), Theme Maker, Author, Server, Transact, Forms, User Admin.
  • Hands-on experience with Duck Creek versions v6.x, v7.x, v8.x.
  • Exposure to Duck Creek Insights, Extract Mapper, Power BI; AMI and Anywhere experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong communication and client-facing skills — ability to partner directly with business and IT leadership.
