American Traveler is seeking an experienced Radiology Technologist - X-Ray for a 7 on / 7 off night shift assignment, requiring ARRT certification, WI license, and prior travel and OR experience.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Hospital setting with patient cases in medical surgical, intensive care, cardiac care, med-surg, and emergency departmentsServes adult and geriatric high acuity patients, typically ages 30 and aboveWork involves routine X-ray procedures and portable imaging throughout the hospitalShifts are 7 consecutive nights on followed by 7 nights offMay float to all Central Aspirus locations as neededNo on-call or call-back required; may be asked to help fill in on holidays or weekends if neededEpic Radiant EMR experience preferred but not requiredDuties include performing X-ray exams in medical surgical, ICUs, cardiac care, and emergency settings, as well as routine portable workMust be comfortable working independently in various hospital units including the ORTeam-based environment with possible cross-coverage at central locationsScrub attire may be any color36 hours of low census unbillable time may occur and travelers can be placed on call with call back payGSA hours are not guaranteed during the week of orientationHoliday closures may affect weekly scheduleRadius rule does not apply to this position\n \n Requirements\n
Current ARRT and active Wisconsin license requiredAHA BLS certification requiredMinimum of 2 years specialty experience as an X-ray Technologist requiredPrior travel assignment experience requiredRecent experience (within last 2 years) in a Trauma Level II, 300+ bed facility requiredOperating Room experience requiredProficiency positioning high acuity adult patients and performing portable X-ray examsLicense required if applicable\n Benefits\n
