Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled CDL A or B Dump Truck Driver to join our team in Richmond, VA. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials to and from job sites while ensuring compliance with all safety regulations. Responsibilities

Operate a dump truck to transport materials to various job sites.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
Load and unload materials, ensuring proper weight distribution.
Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.
Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and delivery records.
Communicate effectively with dispatch and site personnel.
Assist in the maintenance and cleanliness of the truck.
Report any mechanical issues or accidents immediately.

Qualifications

Valid CDL A or B license with a clean driving record.

Proven experience driving dump trucks or similar heavy vehicles.

Strong knowledge of safety regulations and traffic laws.

Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance and inspections.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical stamina and strength to handle loading and unloading materials.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

You should be proficient in :

DOT Medical Card

Current CDL License
