About the Job

What You’ll Do :

1. Implement safe and efficient operating procedures while meeting established schedules, operating a 26 Ft. Refrigerated Straight Truck w / lift gate.

2. Perform duties in a manner that promotes Superior Customer Service, making daily deliveries to our growing customer base, throughout each day.

3. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspection of equipment.

4. Maintain and update driving and safety skills.

5. Communicate with supervision to receive instructions, report delays or safety hazards, and report accidents involving the driver or Company equipment.

6. Drive trucks with a swept cargo box and clean windows and mirrors.

7. Must be able to use handcart, pallet jack, lift gate and Reefer controls

Job Summary

  • Company Driver (W2, Solo)

  • $1,020 - $1,500 total weekly avg. pay
  • $24 - $27 per hour
  • 500 - 1,000 avg. miles per week
  • Day shift
  • 80% Driver Load / Unload

Home Time

  • 5 days on, 2 days off

    • Core Responsibilities include, but are not limited to

  • Inspection of vehicle, equipment, and cargo to ensure everything is safe, legal, and secure.
  • Submitting customer paperwork and deposits including invoices, load orders, and handheld reports.
  • Maintaining a driver's log in accordance with DOT regulations.
  • Stacking and sorting delivered cargo.
  • Loading and unloading cargo while operating cargo handling equipment.
  • Daily customer interactions and maintaining good customer relations.
  • Maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe work area.
  • Being available for work at all times in order to meet customer pickup and delivery schedules.

    • Hiring Requirements

  • Class B license
  • 12 months Commercial Driving experience
