Director, Hematology / Oncology

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY)  is adding a  Director,  Hematology / Oncology  to the group at  NYC Health + Hospitals / Kings County.  Kings County Hospital operates a world-renowned Level I Trauma Center, one of only three in Brooklyn, which serves 2.6 million residents of Brooklyn and Staten Island.  The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with  SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University  to maintain its high healthcare delivery standards.

Opportunity Details :

• Directly supervise Hematology-Oncology faculty and staff.
• Oversee inpatient and outpatient program operations for physicians, students, and support personnel, as well as all Cancer Center Care programs.
• Coordinate services with hospital-wide programs in patient care, research, education, and community health.
• Organize and direct studies to optimize use of professional and support staff, in order to continuously evaluate and improve procedures.
• Plan and lead research projects.
• Conduct clinical conferences and staff meetings.
• Ensure accurate and complete medical records and reports.
• Manage daily clinical operations, including staff scheduling to maximize efficiency.
• Provide clinical leadership within the Department and to external partners.

Qualifications

Wages and Benefits include :

Annual Base Salary : $359,924

The annual total value of compensation package is estimated at $394,924

Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
