POSITION REQUIREMENTS :

Service :
Prepare patients for examinations and treatment.
Greet patients warmly and verify their identities.Provide outstanding customer service throughout the visit.Accurately collect and document medical histories, allergies, medications, and vital signs.Assist in preparing laboratory specimens and explaining procedures to patients.Ensure proper consent forms are signed before procedures.Administer vaccinations and perform follow-up tests as required.Assist the physician during examinations :
Provide educational materials and aftercare instructions for patients.Maintain a sterile field and apply universal precautions during procedures.Prepare and clean dressings, take photographs, and assist with suture removal.Order necessary diagnostic tests and respond to prescription requests.Administrative Duties :
Document patient communications and treatment protocols appropriately.Manage telephone inquiries and voice messages per department policy.Assist with prior authorization for medications and maintain task lists.Complete necessary documentation accurately.Post Operative Follow-Up :
Contact post-operative patients to check progress.Respond to prescription requests and provide aftercare instructions.Quality :
Maintain accurate electronic medical records, documenting all relevant patient information.Complete daily clinical tasks according to protocols.Maintain Rooms and Equipment :
Ensure cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical supplies.Dispose of biohazard waste in accordance with policy.Safety :
Adhere to OSHA guidelines and universal precautions to ensure a safe environment.Assist patients as needed, especially regarding mobility.Finance :
Support fiscal management by maintaining appropriate supply levels and minimizing costs.Utilize downtime effectively to complete necessary tasks.Growth :
Collaborate with MDs and management to promote clinic services and patient engagement.Other Duties :

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :
Graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting, Surgical Technology, or Practical Nursing program.Current certification or licensure without restrictions.Current BLS certification.Knowledge of infection control practices and health safety standards.Proficient in medical terminology and clinical practices.Strong administrative capabilities in managing office procedures.Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS :
