Job Summary

Provide components of physical therapy interventions under direction of a PT; document responses to treatment; and communicate progress and concerns promptly to the supervising PT.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment areas; transport patients safely; follow the written plan of care and proper sequence.
• Administer modalities and therapeutic exercises; reinforce correct technique and equipment use.
• Monitor and document patient response; report outcomes to the PT and suggest progression.
• Fit orthotics / prosthetics, measure for canes / crutches, and provide gait training per PT direction.
• Maintain accurate charges and documentation; practice safe body mechanics and lift / device use.
