Performance-Based Compensation

Start at $24 / hour with the opportunity to earn up to $30 / hour based on performance and quality metrics.

About the Role

As an Installer, you're the final step in bringing our custom closet solutions to life. You'll work directly in customers' homes, ensuring every installation is completed to the highest standard. You'll follow proven systems and checklists, communicate with clients, and work as part of a high-performing team that takes pride in a job well done. You'll represent Closet America on-site and help turn beautifully designed spaces into functional realities.

Responsibilities Include :

  • Conduct morning van and job checks to confirm materials and readiness
  • Install custom closet systems in customers' homes, following detailed plans
  • Protect customer property and maintain a clean, respectful work environment
  • Follow all Closet America procedures and quality standards
  • Communicate with the Installation Manager throughout the day
  • Walk customers through the completed system and collect final paperwork / payment
  • Key Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record (MVR check required)
  • Ability to read and interpret design drawings and parts lists
  • Skilled in detailed, hands-on work with hardware and tools
  • Physically able to move and install materials without damage
  • Strong organization, time management, and communication skills
  • Professional appearance and positive customer service mindset
  • Available to work at least 2 weekends per month
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Coachable with a desire to grow and improve through feedback

    Schedule & Location

    Full-time role based in Landover, MD. Weekend availability required (at least 2 weekends per month).
