This is a hard requirementReferences : please remove all references, no references will be acceptedOrientation Hours : 40Orientation Schedule : UWH orientation is held every other week typically on a Monday, but not all travelers will start on a Monday even if the contract has a Monday start. This is due to department specific orientation schedules. Travelers should follow the start date and time listed in their welcome letter and department schedule. Travelers will orient at 600 Highland Ave, room F8 / 170 (subject to change traveler should follow instructions in welcome letter). Orientation is typically about one weekPre-Approved Time Off : oneRTO Requirements : Manager will review / approve during candidate review process. Generally, no more than 2 weeks off in a contract. If the request is more than 1 week and is consecutive (no hours in the week), Vaya will add 1 week at the end of the contract. Generally, all job postings will state that weekend rotations and some holidays will be required. Some units are stricter than others regarding holidays (ED allows for 1 holiday off)Pass / Fail Testing required with strict passing criteriaA telemetry exam will be required prior to start. The following criteria must be met in two attempts :Adult Exam : 100% identification of lethal rhythms : Ventricular fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, asystoleNo incorrect answers on questions regarding 3rd degree heart blocks [1 incorrect answer will cause failure]Passing score of 80% or higherPediatric Exam : Ventricular fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, asystole, and sinus bradycardiaPassing score of 80% or higherAttempts : Traveler will have two attempts to pass. If the individual does not pass on the second attempt their contract may be cancelled. If the traveler fails the second attempt they will submit a certificate of completion of a cardiac interpretation review course to Vaya before a third attempt will be assigned. If the traveler does not pass after three attempts Vaya will notify recruitment of the results. Recruitment will notify the hiring manager that the traveler's assignment will be cancelledCompetency Renewal : Travelers need to have an active telemetry competency on file per calendarMORE INFORMATION :
