Job Title : Forklift Operator

Job Description

As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, moving, stocking, and staging products and materials using a forklift or other power equipment for 80% of your shift. You will pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring the exact number and types of products are loaded. Maintaining accurate records and reports for inventory accuracy is crucial. Compliance with all OSHA standards is mandatory. You will verify load accuracy, check the load count, stability, and product damage, and report any variances as necessary. Maintaining the facility's equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion is essential. Daily inspections of equipment must be completed, and active communication with production and integration team members and supervisors is expected. Meeting loading and unloading time constraints is key.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using a forklift or other power equipment.
• Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring accuracy in number and type.
• Maintain accurate records and reports for inventory accuracy.
• Comply with all OSHA Standards.

Work Environment

Work in a concrete manufacturing environment where temperatures are cooler than outside due to the heat-absorbing nature of concrete. During winter, the facility is heated to 65 degrees, providing a comfortable working environment. Team collaboration is encouraged and supported.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richburg, South Carolina.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00 / hr.
