California Licensed Accounting Analyst

A company is looking for a Financial Accounting Analyst - General Accounting.

Key Responsibilities

Perform and oversee accounting activities across general ledger, banking, projects, and fixed assets functions

Prepare and maintain financial statements, journal entries, and reconciliations for monthly, quarterly, and year-end close

Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal policies, and external reporting requirements

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field required (equivalent experience accepted)

Minimum 5 years of recent, relevant accounting or financial analysis experience preferably in a healthcare or multi-entity environment

Strong accounting foundation with deep understanding of GAAP

Advanced Excel proficiency required (pivot tables, lookups, macros a plus)

Experience working within ERP environments (Workday or Lawson)
