Job Summary:

Shore Acres Care Center, a leading provider of sub-acute medical care, rehabilitation services, and 24-hour skilled nursing care in St. Petersburg, Florida, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Housekeeping Director to join our team. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for leading our housekeeping department in ensuring the cleanliness, organization, and overall aesthetic appeal of our facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring that all areas of the facility are clean, tidy, and well-maintained

• Develop and implement effective cleaning schedules and protocols to meet the needs of our patients, residents, and staff

• Manage a team of housekeeping staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure excellent service delivery

• Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and effective communication

• Monitor and control inventory, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient use and minimize waste

• Identify and implement opportunities for cost savings and process improvements

• Maintain accurate records and reports, including cleaning schedules, inventory, and staff performance

• Collaborate with the facilities management team to ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory requirements

Requirements:

• Minimum Years of Experience: 3 -5 years

• Level of Education: n/a (will review and consider candidates with relevant experience and qualifications)
