Diesel Mechanic

As a Mechanic you will perform repair work and maintenance for buses.

You will perform routine and preventive maintenance including oil changes, and tune-ups, repairing or replacing malfunctioning parts and systems such as brake pads, belts, water pumps, transmissions, and other mechanical parts.

You will perform tests on specific parts and systems to ensure proper function and examining critical parts and systems using a standard checklist.

You will be able to identify mechanical issues either visually or with computer diagnostic equipment.

Test drive vehicles to confirm safe and proper operation and planning timetable to complete such repairs and maintenance.

• Knowledge of mechanical repair skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read service and repair manuals.
• Proficient with computer diagnostic equipment, hydraulics, and software.

What we would like you to have to support you in this role :

Two years of related experience A commercial driver’s license may be required.
