Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) night shift position in California, requiring a current CA RN license and ICU experience.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Position is in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) within a hospital setting
  • Primary patient population includes cardiovascular and critically ill patients
  • 12-hour night shifts from 7 : 30 PM to 8 : 00 AM
  • Assignment duration is 9 weeks
  • Utilizes the Epic EMR system
  • Critical care responsibilities include monitoring, assessment, and interventions for cardiovascular ICU patients
  • BSN or a bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred
  • Experience in progressive or intermediate care units is preferred
  • Must comply with mandated COVID and flu vaccination requirements
  • Local and travel candidates are accepted at the same rate
  • Tenure policy limits contract length to a maximum of two years, after which a 90-day break is required

  • Must have an active CA RN license at time of consideration
  • Minimum of 1 year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent CVICU or ICU experience required
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required
  • Experience with the Epic EMR preferred
  • Last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth required for consideration
