Position Overview

My Client is seeking a Dev / Research Engineer II to support test and validation activities on large mining equipment at our location. This hands-on engineering role involves mechanical research, design, and investigation to ensure optimal performance and reliability of heavy machinery. The position requires a candidate with strong analytical skills, mechanical aptitude, and a collaborative work style.

Key Responsibilities

• Research, design, develop, and test mechanical products, tools, engines, and systems.
• Analyze customer design proposals and specifications to determine project feasibility in terms of cost and time.
• Plan, execute, and document machine-level testing and validation activities.
• Investigate mechanical failures, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with drafters and technicians to develop detailed mechanical designs and reports.
