Decision Sciences - Entertainment Content Analytics : The Content Analytics Entertainment Research team acts as the main source of data and insights on all things Entertainment, for NBC and Bravo on Linear TV and Peacock, providing program performance tracking, audience demographics, forecasting, business and brand strategy, portfolio optimization, and all forms of research-based guidance. The team works closely with many groups across the business including marketing, programming, production, finance, and ad sales. Additionally, NBC Universal Syndication Studios produces and distributes such shows as Access Hollywood and The Kelly Clarkson Show. The Content Analytics team provides producers and executives with performance ratings on both linear and streaming. The team also works closely with NBC-affiliated stations across the country providing insights on NBC programming in local markets. An intern supporting our group will be an integral part of how we report performance data for all our programs to our key stakeholders and will utilize multiple data management and analytics tools in their day-to-day. The internship will offer in-depth training on TV ratings and audience research, including involvement in various cross-platform projects, and ownership over various weekly and daily reporting.
Decision Sciences - Partnerships Analytics : The Partnership Analytics team sits within Media Group's Decision Sciences organization and provides end-to-end data and analytic support for Peacock's distribution and partnership initiatives. We work closely with teams across Partnerships, Finance, Marketing, and Product to deliver insights that shape Peacock's strategy around platforms, streaming bundles, and partner offers. As a Partnership Analytics Intern, you'll help uncover data-driven insights that influence Peacock partners with leading platforms and distributors. You'll explore large datasets, analyze partner performance trends, and support reporting and dashboard development to enable smarter business decisions. This role is ideal for someone who is curious, detail-oriented, and passionate about using data to tell compelling stories.
Decision Sciences - Product Experimentation : We are seeking an Intern to help support our Experimentation efforts across multiple Product teams (Viewing, Commerce, Personalization, and Editorial). With the vast amount of content available from NBCUniversal and the ever-evolving and fast-paced product development of Peacock, we will need an intern to support the A / B and multivariate testing lifecycle, spanning from sifting through large amounts of data for insights into experimentation, generating informed hypotheses and objectives for data-informed prioritization, designing and conducting tests for statistical significance in continuous and iterative optimization, to analyzing testing results and presenting data-driven actions to a multifunctional team of stakeholders in business and technology. The candidate should have technical experience and statistical skills with statistical modeling (e.g., hypothesis testing, multivariate statistics) and randomized controlled experimental design (e.g., KPIs, bucketing, sample size, power, statistical significance), A / B / N testing toolsets (e.g., Optimizely, Apptimize, Adobe Target, Split), a programming language for data analysis (e.g., SQL, Python, R), and full-stack streaming devices (e.g., Xfinity, tvOS, iOS, Android mobile / TV, Roku, Play Station, Xbox, Amazon Fire TV). The Intern should be able to thrive in a collaborative working environment by partnering with other Decision Sciences teams, including Data Science, Data Engineering, Data Measurement, and other Peacock business units across products, content and marketing.
Basic Requirements :
Must be actively enrolled in a degree-granting program at an accredited institution during the entire duration of the program. Spring 2026 graduates are not eligible for our Summer 2026 internship program.
Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits).
Must be presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States and must not require work visa sponsorship from NBCUniversal now or in the future to?retain authorization to work in the United States.
Must be available to work 40 hours per week from June 1 - August 7, 2026.
Must be willing to work in New York, NY.

Desired Characteristics :
Students with class standing of junior or above preferred.
Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
Knowledge of TV Ratings, Nielsen, or data visualization tools like Tableau, Looker or Power BI preferred.
Affinity for numbers & ability to digest large data sets - especially with ratings and viewership data.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Excel and PowerPoint.
Proficient in SQL with hands-on experience querying and manipulating data (Python, PySpark or R is a plus).
Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, or similar data warehouse technologies preferred.
Background in statistical analysis and regression techniques is a plus.
Familiar with statistical skills in applying hypothesis testing, calculating critical value, defining p-value, and using z-test, t-test, ANOVA, or chi-square test.
Proficiency in cloud-based relational SQL database management systems (e.g., Google Cloud Platform BigQuery).
Familiarity or experience setting up tests with A / B / N testing tools (e.g., Optimizely, Apptimize, Adobe Target, Split), experimental design and practical application of same techniques.
Ability to translate statistical concepts and probability theories to a general audience.
Familiarity or baseline understanding of complex machine learning frameworks (e.g., neural network, gradient boosting, etc.) is preferred but not required.
The hourly rate for undergraduate student interns is $30.00.
The hourly rate for graduate student interns is $35.00.
