Transportation Construction Inspector
Tetra Tech is seeking a Transportation Construction Inspector to join our Transportation team based in Tulsa, OK. In this role, you will perform daily inspection and documentation of roadway and bridge construction projects to ensure compliance with contract requirements and specifications.

The Transportation Construction Inspector will provide on-site inspection services for road and bridge construction projects, ensuring quality and compliance with ODOT and OTA standards. This position involves daily fieldwork, detailed documentation, and coordination with contractors and project teams.

Experience inspecting roadway and bridge construction projects, preferably with ODOT or OTA. Knowledge of ODOT construction standards, specifications, and methods. Ability to read and interpret plans, contracts, special provisions, and construction drawings. Experience with Microsoft applications, Site Manager, and ProjectWise software. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Ability to work outdoors for extended periods and in varying weather conditions. Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work irregular hours including nights and weekends. Accountability in handling public funds for project estimates and documentation.
AASHTO material testing training or certifications. OSHA 10, confined space, and fall protection certifications. Experience preparing Progressive Estimates and As-Built documentation.
Ability to traverse rough terrain and remain on foot for long periods during site inspections. Ability to lift and move materials or equipment up to 50 pounds. Ability to ascend and descend ladders and access confined or elevated spaces safely.
Frequent outdoor work in variable weather conditions, including exposure to extreme temperatures. Exposure to construction sites with heavy equipment, dust, and noise. Use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
Full-time position based in Tulsa, OK Requires frequent fieldwork and potential travel to project sites. May include night or weekend shifts depending on project needs.
