Summary

As a Sheet Metal Assembler at Univair Aircraft Corporation, you will be an integral part of our manufacturing team, responsible for operating tools and equipment to produce high-quality aircraft components. This role is essential to our mission of delivering precision-engineered products that meet the highest standards of safety and performance.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate tools such as press brake, foot shear, hand drills, c-squeeze, rivet gun, and other basic hand tools to fabricate aircraft parts according to specifications.
• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine dimensions.
• Conduct routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Monitor production processes to maintain quality standards and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve production techniques and efficiency.
• Utilize measuring tools such as calipers to verify dimensions of finished products.
• Adhere to safety protocols while operating machinery and handling materials.
• Document production data for reporting and quality assurance purposes.

Qualifications

Sheet Metal Assembler reports to Shop Foreman.
