Responsibilities

• Design passive and active photonic devices using advanced modeling and simulation tools
• Translate schematic designs into physical layouts through Python-based layout scripting
• Collaborate with foundries to ensure process compatibility and facilitate successful tapeouts
• Define and interpret metrologies to validate process integrity and correlate with PIC performance
• Develop and implement wafer-level and die-level test plans
• Support cross-functional product teams in integrating PICs into larger modules or subsystems

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary range for this position is $181,000 - $290,000 per year. Auroras pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, the successful candidates starting base pay will be determined based on factors including job-related skills, experience, qualifications, relevant education or training, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future. The successful candidate will also be eligible for an annual bonus, equity compensation, and benefits.
