Case Aid / Paraprofessional
This position requires an individual to work as an educational case aide in providing field specific clinical treatment as ordered by the courts or an agency for clients. Services are provided in collaboration with interdisciplinary treatment teams, courts, and local agencies as appropriate. Pay is commensurate with experience, education, and performance. Prior experience with SAH, WRAP, DHS, or courts preferred.
Duties
Coordination of case services : Case Aid (PP) is responsible for coordination of service provision with the MDT, courts, agencies, case managers, and clients.
Treatment Planning / Goal Setting - Case aid (PP) will provide education related to ASB’s, tutoring, Community Care Connection, respite, linkage and community resources., Case Aid (PP) is responsible overseeing supervised visitations; monitoring parental / familial interactions. Case Aid (PP) monitors for appropriateness, and corrective measures. They document and provide feedback to assist the MDT in treatment determinations.
Case Aid (PP) will provide weekly and monthly reports to ensure professional documentation meeting SNS and KEPRO guidelines.
Resource / Linkage; Generate referrals to community resources based on identified needs.
Crisis Intervention - In the event of a medical or psychiatric emergency, staff will follow the protocols of the courts, DHS, & T.T.L, Inc..
Work Schedule Hours are flexible. Case Aid (PP) may set their schedule on an individual basis, dependent upon the client and clinicians' inclination.
Remote : This position requires the applicant to be able to work out in the community and from home.
Travel : Required 25-50%

Qualifications
Applicants may be selected but not hired until all requirements are met; pending the completion of educational, background, and onboarding requirements.
Preferred Experience : Experience with CPS and / or court services.
Pay is competitive and allowance for experience is weighed in as well.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities. In addition to the experience above, candidates must be willing to acquire KSAs : (a) Knowledge of community resources (b) Field level knowledge of medical and mental health diagnoses, and disabilities. (c) Skill in working with individuals, families, and groups who are experiencing a variety of psychiatric, medical, and social problems to achieve treatment goals. (e) Knowledge of psychosocial needs of patients and the impact of psychosocial problems on health care and compliance with treatment.
