Euclid Beverage, LLC is the largest Molson Coors distributor in Illinois. We currently distribute brands from over 65 domestic, craft, and import suppliers of beer, wine, and spirits. Our two state-of-the-art facilities service more than 3,800 retail customers in 25 counties across the state of Illinois. We provide seamless sales, marketing, and distribution opportunities for the top domestic, craft, and specialty beverage suppliers. Privately owned by the same family for over 40 years.

Job Summary :

The Account Payable Associate is responsible for entering vendor invoices and expense reports for multiple companies with various locations. They will ensure that invoices are accurately and properly coded for payment. This role involves heavily processing payments through ACH and EFT. The AP Associate will receive training to perform higher-level accounting functions over time.

Essential Functions :

• Sorts, codes, and matches invoices
• Sets invoices up for payment
• Process invoices into multiple software programs
• Ensures all invoices are accurately coded for payment
• Prepares and processes electronic transfers and payments
• Prepares and performs check runs
• Maintains accounts payable supporting records
• Reconciles accounts payable transactions
• Researches and resolves invoice discrepancies and issues
• Assist with internal audit functions

Required Education and Experience :

Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred

A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is required

Understanding basic business concepts, General Ledger codes, and departments

Gives attention to detail and follows instructions

Ability to stay organized and switch between tasks efficiently

Ability to work both independently and within a team environment

Effective time management

Develops and maintains positive relationships with internal and external parties

Good communication skills

Physical Requirements :

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.

Compensation :

$50,000- $52,000
