Platform Engineer

A company is looking for a Platform Engineer with a strong focus on Fastly, Compute@Edge, VCL, and WAF.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain backend systems and cloud infrastructure using Fastly and related technologies

Implement and optimize Edge technologies including CDN, WAF, and caching strategies

Utilize AWS services and container orchestration tools to enhance system performance and security

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

5+ years of software development experience focused on backend systems

Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Node.js

Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker in cloud environments

Good understanding of Microservices and security best practices in distributed systems
