A fast-growing physician-owned outpatient neurology group is seeking a highly skilled EMG / NCV Technician to join its Myrtle Beach clinic. This is a rare opportunity to work alongside a newly hired Neurologist and support high-volume diagnostic procedures in a specialist-led, team-oriented practice.
You’ll focus exclusively on in-clinic EMG and Nerve Conduction Studies (NCVs) - no intraoperative monitoring, no night shifts, and no weekend call. If you thrive in a high-performance outpatient environment and bring expert-level neurodiagnostic skills to the table, this role is for you.

What You’ll Do
Perform electromyography (EMG) and nerve conduction velocity (NCV) studies independently and efficientlyPrep patients, explain procedures, and ensure clinical comfort and accuracyAssist the neurologist in evaluating neuromuscular disorders based on diagnostic outputMaintain and calibrate EMG / NCV equipment to ensure consistent qualityDocument procedures accurately in the EHR and support workflow efficiencyCollaborate with EEG techs, mid-level providers, and scheduling teams as neededWhat You’ll Need
2+ years of hands-on experience performing EMG and NCV studies in a clinical settingCertification as an R.NCS.T or equivalent preferred, but not requiredPrior EEG experience is a plus, but this is not a primary EEG roleExcellent bedside manner and communication skillsAbility to work independently in a fast-paced environmentPassion for neurology and providing diagnostic insight to improve patient careMust be local to or willing to relocate to the Myrtle Beach, SC areaIdeal Candidate Profile
