Travel ICU RN Job Details Location : San Antonio, TX 78229 (Texas healthcare jobs) Assignment Length : 13-week travel nursing contract Start Date : August 26, 2025 End Date : November 25, 2025 Shift : 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM (12-hour night shifts) Hours per Week : 36 Estimated Weekly Salary : $1470 - $1570 Employment Type : Travel RN, On-Site ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license (no temporary licenses) Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience (critical care nurse) Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke certifications required Strong clinical and critical thinking skills Ability to float to other hospital units as needed Experience with Meditech charting system preferred MICU / MSICU background preferred Compliance with hospital dress code : Navy scrubs, neat appearance, tattoos covered when possible, only ear piercings visible ICU RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Perform and assist with ICU procedures : chest tubes, tracheostomies, GI scopes, intubations, central lines, arterial lines, NG tubes, Foley catheters, and dressing changes Accurately document patient care using Meditech (electronic health records) Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans Float to other nursing units as required by hospital policy Adhere to hospital attendance, punctuality, and break policies Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment Apply now to join our dedicated healthcare team in San Antonio, Texas, and take the next step in your travel nursing career!
