Strategic Consultant (Customer Onboarding & Strategic Projects)
Drive customer success from day one as a Strategic Consultant who transforms new Airship customers into platform power users. You'll lead high-impact onboarding projects and strategic initiatives that connect business goals to measurable marketing outcomes, working with global brands to accelerate their mobile-first customer engagement strategies.
As the primary project lead for strategic initiatives, you'll ensure clear planning, execution, and delivery of measurable results while partnering with Technical Services, Account Management, and Pre-Sales teams. This role offers direct exposure to thousands of the world's most admired companies and the opportunity to build expertise in cutting-edge mobile marketing and AI orchestration technologies.
Strategic Customer Onboarding
- Lead strategic onboarding projects aligning platform configuration, data design, and initial use cases to customer goals
- Facilitate critical sessions including Discovery & Alignment, Data Structure & Use Case Validation, and Success Measurement in partnership with Technical Services
- Translate marketing objectives into actionable platform configurations and campaign strategies
- Ensure milestone readiness from SDK implementation through campaign launch and go-live success
Strategic Project Leadership
Drive POC, trial, and adoption acceleration projects to demonstrate and expand customer valueSupport at-risk accounts through targeted interventions focused on use case activation and lifecycle optimizationPartner on data-driven Business Reviews to identify growth and expansion opportunitiesManage multiple concurrent projects delivering measurable outcomes within defined timelinesCross-Functional Collaboration

5+ years of experience in project management, consulting, or marketing management within SaaS, CRM, or marketing technology environmentsProven track record leading cross-functional customer projects combining technical implementation and marketing strategyStrong customer lifecycle marketing expertise with ability to map data, use cases, and campaigns to business objectivesStrategic translation abilities - convert business goals into technical and operational requirementsExcellent verbal and written communication skills with strong storytelling skillsDemonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across customer-facing, technical, and internal teams in fast-paced environmentsWorkshop facilitation experience with structured customer engagements, executive check-ins, and success reviewsAnalytical and organizational excellence - manage details while maintaining strategic focusComfortable leveraging AI-powered tools and large language models (LLMs) to accelerate strategic project delivery including building customer experience mock-ups, crafting strategic narratives, and enhancing presentation quality.Collaborative mindset for fast-paced, cross-functional environmentsAbility to travel up to 20% for customer engagement opportunitiesTechnical Knowledge

This position is fully remote and may require up to 20% travel based on business needs or as requested by your manager.
Compensation
The starting base pay range for this position is : 65,000 - 75,000 GBP per year. Airship's compensation is determined by a variety of factors including market data, business needs, and geography. Base pay is part of your total compensation package and is dependent on multiple factors, including : relevant skills, work experience, business priorities, market demands, and location.
Some roles may also be eligible for commission, bonus, or other performance incentives.
