Job Description

Full Time Position (Sunday through Thursday)

Salary Range : $20.00 - $20.00 per hour

Reports To

The Driver will report to the Program Director. The Driver position is a non-exempt, hourly position.

Job Overview

Provide transportation for residents on company sponsored activities and / or medical appointments. Please note, this position is in a long-term care / assisted living community.

The starting hourly rate for this position is $20.00 and schedule is Sunday - Thursday

Responsibilities and Duties

• Drives residents to and from their assigned destination in a safe manner
• Ensures the vehicle is inspected before each use to ensure it is safe and clean prior to leaving the community
• Ensures preventive maintenance and all other maintenance required, it performed in a timely manner
• Verifies that all passengers and their equipment (wheelchairs, walkers) are safely secured prior to departure
• Keeps an accurate record of all inspections, maintenance, and resident attendance
