About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Critical Care Medicine specialist for a 10-day locum tenens assignment in Ohio starting Dec 24, 2025. This assignment features in-house service from 6 : 30am to 6pm and out-of-house call from 6pm to 6 : 30am, managing up to 7 pediatric patients daily. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with both general pediatric and critical care duties in a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities and Duties
Round on pediatric critical care patientsManage pre- and post-surgery critical care cases, including burn and craniofacial surgery patientsOversee care for up to 7 patients daily, with a maximum of 2 at ICU levelEnsure readiness to manage higher acuity as patient volume and complexity increasesCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, evidence-based careAdditional Information
Must be board certified or board eligible in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine (no lapsed boards)Completion of 3-year General Pediatrics residency (ACGME accredited)Completion of 3-year Pediatric Critical Care Medicine fellowship (ACGME accredited)Optional : Additional 4th year subspecialty fellowship in Cardiac or Neuro Intensive CareMust hold an active Ohio licenseNo flexibility in assignment datesBenefits
