Direct Support Professional

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Direct Support Professional to support a male individual in developing life skills and building meaningful daily routines. This role is more than just assistance-it's about creating a lasting relationship built on trust, consistency, and care.

Responsibilities

• Support with skill-building in cooking, household management, and self-care
• Facilitate exercise routines and promote healthy habits
• Assist with scheduling appointments
• Foster independence while providing encouragement and structure
• Build a positive, trusting, and supportive relationship

• A great communicator who makes others feel comfortable, seen, and heard
• Passionate about helping others grow and succeed
• Experience in caregiving, special needs, or related fields is a plus (but not required)

Job Details

• Location: Carlsbad, CA
• Schedule: Sundays (flexible hours) and Monday's 8 am-4pm - Part-time (with opportunity for additional hours on other teams, if interested)
• Pay: $20.05/hour
