General Responsibilities / Job

Summary

We’re seeking a dependable and experienced Receiving Clerk to join our team in a climate-controlled Distribution Center. This position plays a key role in ensuring products are accurately received, stocked, and prepared for distribution.

Responsibilities :

• Receive, verify, and record incoming shipments
• Inspect materials and equipment for accuracy and damage
• Safely unload trucks and stage materials for storage
• Operate forklifts and powered industrial equipment to move, store, or retrieve products
• Pull, pack, and prepare orders for outbound shipping
• Stock and replenish products in assigned areas
• Use RF scanners or similar devices to track, monitor, and verify inventory
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily goals
• Follow all safety and operational procedures in a safety-sensitive environment

Qualifications :

High School diploma or GED strongly preferred (or equivalent combination of education and experience)

Computer literacy is a requirement

Prior experience with RF scanners and order-picking systems preferred

History of operating a forklift, unloading containers

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Able to work independently and as part of a team

Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities or assignments

Willingness to work overtime as needed

Physically able to lift, push, pull, or carry items up to 50 lbs.

Ability to stand and work on a concrete floor for extended periods

7 : 30 am to 4 : 00 pm
