Description :

This position involves providing care to adult patients in a psychiatric setting.

Common diagnoses include depression, bipolar disorder, and psychotic disorders.

The unit has a total of 28 beds, including a designated area for acute patients.

The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1 : 6.

Charting will be conducted using Meditech.

Scrubs color will be specified.

Requirements include availability to work every other weekend and to float as needed within the skillset.

Special procedures may include Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT).

Certifications must be in hand, with the option to obtain CPI on-site within 60 days of start.
