Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A dynamic opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide school-based therapy in a K-12 educational setting in Monrovia, CA. This position is ideal for a professional with expertise in pediatric speech and language services, including teletherapy, and holds a current California SLP license. The role offers leave coverage on a contract basis for the upcoming school year.

Qualifications and Experience :

  • Current California Speech-Language Pathology License required
  • Experience working with K-12 students in school settings
  • Familiarity with teletherapy service delivery preferred
  • Eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators and families

Position Details :

  • Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday
  • Serving children from kindergarten through 12th grade
  • Contract duration : school year (NSY)
  • Location : Monrovia, California
  • Key Responsibilities :

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each students needs
  • Deliver direct and teletherapy speech-language services to students including articulation, language, fluency, and social communication goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication development
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
  • Provide temporary coverage for a full-time SLP on leave
