We’re seeking a Board-Eligible or Board-Certified Pathologist to provide vacation coverage in Orangeburg, South Carolina —a charming city rich in history and Southern hospitality. This short-term assignment is ideal for pathologists seeking supplemental income in a supportive, community hospital setting .

🗓️ Schedule Overview :

📆 Dates :

Weekday Coverage – August 29 – September 1 , 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM

(1-hour unpaid lunch)

Weekend Call – Saturday 8 : 00 AM – Sunday 8 : 00 AM (24-hour call)

🔄 Additional dates may be available based on future vacation coverage needs

🧊 Duties Include :

Performing frozen sections

Routine pathology evaluations

On-call availability for hospital consults during weekend call period

Job Requirements

MD or DO from an accredited program

Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pathology (within 5 years)

Fellowship in pathology – Required

Proficient in frozen section analysis

Active South Carolina license or eligibility

No telehealth or trauma-level experience required
