Job Overview
The CPB Latam Business Strategy and Initiatives Manager should have in-depth understanding of how own sub-function contributes to achieving the objectives of the function. Requires thorough understanding of strategic direction of the function within the relevant part of the business, combined with a solid conceptual / practical grounding in both the function and / or area of expertise and related subject areas. Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Some external communication / negotiation may be necessary. Responsible for executing functional strategy in area managed. Determines approach to implementing functional strategy. Accountable for end results, budgeting, planning, policy formulation and contribution to future strategy of the area(s). Impact reflects size of team managed, strategic influence on the business and interaction with other functions or businesses. Responsibilities :
- Responsible for driving Citi Private Bank Latam strategic priorities and initiatives
- Requires strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage cross functional initiatives (understand end to end process flows, ability to problem solve, design resolutions)
- Business execution / support (directly partner with CPB Latam leadership team to drive / execute business priorities)
- Additional responsibilities include :
- Ongoing leadership of the team and creation of an innovative, play-to-win culture
- Partner closely with internal Wealth Management stakeholders
- Establish governance of all initiatives including continuous communication with partner business organizations, as well as compliance and legal departments, to ensure all products are within guidelines and standards and appropriately mitigate risk
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citi, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

8+ years project / business management experienceAccomplished change leader, can execute flawlessly in ambiguous and changing environments and demonstrates both a flexible and resilient approachMust possess vision and passion for the transformation of the private bank business, with high energyManagerial experienceSignificant relevant experience driving strategy and executionDemonstrated ability to work collaboratively across multiple stakeholders and organizations pushes self and colleagues to higher levels of performance by actively listening and engaging in constructive dialogue.Demonstrated ability to manage and drive large scale, complex business initiatives taking initiatives from concept to execution.Ability to balance strategic thinking with process-oriented execution, with a high attention to detail and qualityStrategic, analytical, and systematic thinker who consistently pushes the status quo and constructively challenges the team to drive change and continuous improvement and innovationWealth management experience preferredEducation :
Bachelor's / University degree, Master's degree preferred
